Auditions for jazz band typically take place in November. Students will be required to perform a prepared selection, determined by Mr. Naylor, along with scales and improvisation.  Jazz Band will meet at least twice a week after school. Members are encouraged to study privately and work on improvisation skills.  The Jazz Band will play at multiple concerts throughout the year and may travel to at least one Jazz Band Festival.
